Saturday 9th June 2012 threw up a shock upset for Championship leader Ryan Magennis at Nutts Corner Racing Circuit.

height=”300″ /> This was the venue for round eight of the UsedCars NI Sevens championship and in difficult conditions a huge battle was to be had. A battle that has thrown the overall championship standings into a tight
fight. Alan Davidson proved he is a force to be reckoned with taking the class win at the cold, slippy and wet sprint with a three second lead over Magennis at the end of play leaving Magennis in fourth overall. Another great battle on the day, as well as the championship is between Trevor Allen, Jack Boal and Jimmy Dougan. At the end of the day Allen took second overall from Boal third and Dougan taking fifth. Next up from the UsedCars NI Sevens series will be a report from Cairncastle Hill Climb. Round 8 Results:
