Star Car Show to bring film and TV vehicle replicas to Belfast this August
Two-day event at the Eikon Exhibition Centre will combine movie-themed displays with classic and performance cars
BELFAST — The Star Car Show will take place on 29–30 August 2026 at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, with early-bird tickets available online.
A new family event combining motoring culture with big-screen nostalgia is set to debut in Belfast this summer. Organisers say the Star Car Show will fill the Eikon Exhibition Centre across the Bank Holiday weekend with replica and tribute vehicles inspired by well-known films and television series, alongside a broader showcase of classic, muscle and supercars.
The two-day show is aimed at families and enthusiasts, with organisers positioning it as an indoor, weather-proof option to round off the summer holidays.

Replica movie and TV vehicles among headline attractions
The event will feature fan-owned replicas and recreations of vehicles associated with a range of popular titles. Organisers said highlights will include tributes inspired by Cars, Ghostbusters, Transformers, James Bond films and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as “Bat Cars” based on the 1989 film and the 1960s TV series.

· “Bat Cars” inspired by the 1989 film and the 1960s TV series
· Transformers replicas including Optimus Prime and Bumblebee
· A replica of the Ghostbusters Ecto-1
· A James Bond-style Aston Martin DB5 tribute
· A hand-built Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tribute
Organisers said additional themed vehicles may also appear, with displays intended to appeal to fans of a variety of franchises.

Alongside the movie-themed displays, organisers said the show will include a wider range of vehicles spanning classic cars, American muscle, racing machinery and modern exotics.
