The streets around South Belfast got an early wake
up call on Sunday 25th
March when thousands descended upon The Kings Hall Complex for DubShed ’12.

On the mainland and further afield, VAG shows tend to be huge events, in industrial/shed locations and from this inspiration, DubShed was born in NI. The show uses most of the sheds within the Kings Hall complex and has really put its stamp on the map in the short time it has been running.
With over 500 cars on display and well over 1,000 spectators it surely has to be one of the biggest shows ever to be held on the Emerald Isle, attracting show entrants from Scotland, London, Manchester and as far away as Poland.
GTiNI have always been involved heavily with charity work and indeed this show was
no exception, with fundraising in the form of a car raffle to win a VW Golf GTi as well as bucket collections. This year Headway Belfast, the brain injury association will benefit greatly from this show.
The total amount donated will be announced in a coming issue, and congratulations to Matthew White on winning the VW Golf.
