BUILT on the success of last year’s inaugural event held at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, the automotive extravaganza known as ‘BUILT Event’ is set to return on Sunday 12 August from 12pm-5.30pm.
The brainchild of three Northern Irish businesses – Blackwater Graphics, Blok 51 and Fitted State – the indoor event will yet again showcase all things automotive, being open to all makes of stance, modified, classic and motorsport ready cars.
The team involved in BUILT saw a gap in the Northern Ireland show calendar for an ‘all-age, all-make, all-model’ show for the province to enjoy, and with the vast majority of the event being indoors, poor weather shouldn’t put anyone off attending.
Expect to see everything from race cars to rally cars, performance cars and supercars, alongside off-road vehicles such as 4×4’s and quads, classic/vintage cars and retired military vehicles as well as a plethora of custom two-wheeled modes of transport thrown in for good measure along with an abundance of modified machinery.
With something for absolutely everyone, including some kid’s activities, there will be over 500 vehicles on display alongside trade stands, remote control drifting, race simulators, a live DJ and even a HEXIS live vehicle vinyl wrap demonstration.
One highlight of the show is a car that is travelling all the way from Germany for BUILT Event, and having seen a sneak peak of said vehicle, i can assure you, it is BUILT in an eclectic way, one that will certainly draw attention.
British Superstock racer and local tattoo artist Andy Reid is confirmed for an autograph session and live interview on stage, going by last year’s event which he also attended, the race winning rider will no doubt walk round the show chatting to fans whilst taking in the machinery on display.
There will be plenty of entertainment for show goers and pricing at the door is £12/adult (18 and over) with an affordable family ticket coming in at £35 (2 adults & 2 teens) but spectators are encouraged to buy their early bird tickets online at www.builtevent.com at a reduced rate of £10.
For a taste of what to expect from what is to be a much bigger and better event, check out last year’s coverage BUILT 2017 and make sure you put 12 August into your diary, this one’s not to be missed!
