Eakin Brothers, the long-established Isuzu dealership based in Northern Ireland, has recently shown great support for the annual Farming Life Awards 2023 by sponsoring the Family Business of the Year award. Staff from the dealership attended the black-tie ceremony on the 11th of October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast, displaying the strong relationship between Eakin Brothers, Isuzu UK, and the agricultural community.
As the sole automotive sponsor of the event, Eakin Brothers positioned a New-Look Isuzu D-Max V-Cross outside the front of the hotel, finished in Valencia Orange and equipped with various accessories including wheel arches, a sports bar, and a bonnet protector. The dealership’s patronage of the awards, as well as the agricultural community, resulted in various instances of branding implementation throughout the event, with staff members from Eakin Brothers presenting their sponsored award to the winning candidate Primacy Meats Food Village.
The annual Farming Life Awards are aimed at recognising the talent, entrepreneurship and excellence that exists across the full range of business and commerce in the area, paying homage to the long history of individual and collective industry upon which local farming has taken root and flourished and the individuals and organisations which carry on that tradition today. The awards categories cover all aspects of farming business and agricultural industry, with an independent judging panel deliberating on each winner. There are various categories featured in the event, such as Farming Excellence, Agri-Food Business of the Year, Rural Hero, and Family Business of the Year, among others.
Eakin Brothers Ltd was founded in 1923 and has since cultivated a longstanding legacy that is still upheld four generations later. Eakin Bros’ association with Isuzu UK is also marking a momentous milestone, with 20 years of partnership confirming the dealership as a crucial member of the Isuzu network, reflected by the recently built Isuzu-focused showroom. With three generations of family still working in the business, the dealership has received merits for its excellent customer service and passionate staff work ethic, particularly with its dedicated agriculture customers.
