Charles Hurst Group will have buckets and sponges at the ready as it prepares to help raise funds for Children In Need with its ‘Big Wash’ event tomorrow.
Taking place tomorrow (Friday 17 November) from 9am-5pm, all donations will be going to help disadvantaged young people across the whole of Northern Ireland.
Pudsey Bear and the full Charles Hurst Belfast team will transform the car retailer’s Boucher Road Complex for the Big Wash, which will see six bays and 30 cleaners dedicated to cleaning up Belfast’s cars for a great cause.
With the assistance of strategic partner, AutoKleen, team members at Charles Hurst Group’s Boucher Road Complex will roll up their sleeves and get their chamois ready to fundraise for this worthwhile charity.
Colin McNab, Charles Hurst Group’s Operations Director said: “We are proud to be doing our bit on Children In Need’s Annual Appeal Day and to support such an important cause.”
McNab continued “We are excited to see the full Charles Hurst Belfast team take part in what we hope will be a fantastic event. Hopefully, we’ll see hundreds of sparkling clean cars and happy drivers leaving The Big Wash and hope visitors will give as generously as they can.”
Drivers keen to take part should enter Charles Hurst Group’s Boucher Road Complex via the security gate at the old Ulster Bank building and follow the sign posts to access the Big Wash, or look out for Pudsey who will be on hand to direct cars for their charitable clean-up.
A recommended donation of £3-5 per car wash is suggested, with all funds going directly to Children in Need Northern Ireland.
Charles Hurst Group is part of leading automotive retail group, Lookers, which appointed Children in Need as its retail charity partner of choice, earlier this year. Lookers has pledged to raise £1,000,000 – yes ONE MILLION QUID – for the charity across its car retail nationwide with the help of events like the ‘Big Wash’ and the recent Charles Hurst Golf Invitational.
