The first of its kind in Northern Ireland, Used Cars NI.com supported by Moto Novo Finance invites all of our clients to attend DealerConfNI. We have planned a full day of seminars and exhibition targeted specifically at motor dealers.
- We will have talks from experts such as Damien Doherty from Trading Standards, helping to explain Consumer rights, the Sale of Goods Act and your obligations to your customers.
- Gregory Hunt of Ombudsman Services will be discussing the new Advanced Dispute Resolution initiative, and what it means to you.
- CAP/HPI will be talking about “Write-offs, repos and cons”, explaining what to look out for so that you don’t get stuck with the wrong car – and what to do if you do.
- We will also have Steve Robson, of Warranty Administration Services Ltd explaining the benefits of a self-funded dealer promise over a traditional warranty.
- Independent expert, Graham Filmer, will provide a plain English overview of the FCA journey facing dealers, from those considering their authorisation options to those who have completed authorisation but now need to embed the ‘principle-led’ approach now required. Most encouragingly, he will outline his thoughts on how change can equal opportunity.
- Finally, Graham will join a panel with iVendi and event sponsors MotoNovo Finance to discuss the future of searching for cars online and how finance will change the customer journey.
