Based on the outskirts of East Belfast overlooking Samson and Goliath the Craigantlet hillclimb is set to be the only round of the 2021 British Hillclimb Championship to run on closed public roads.

Hillclimbing resumed on Saturday the 8th August 2020 at Garron Point, organised by Mid Antrim Motor Club, this being the only hillcimb in Northern Ireland being able to run in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Round 5 of the ANICC Millers Oils Hillclimb Championship took place on Saturday 25th May 2019. The event had 64 starters and was to be a very cloudy day with rain threatening to strike at any time, but it held off for it to be a mainly dry day.

A damp day led to very tricky conditions for UAC’s Knockagh Hillclimb and the 54 car entry struggled all day with lack of grip with several off road incidents, but the UAC team coped well in the circumstances.
