TrustFord supplies SuperCupNI with 100% electric vehicles as part of tournament’s commitment to sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint.
SuperCupNI has taken a major step towards reducing its carbon footprint by striking a deal with TrustFord to add 100% electric Ford E-Transit® and All-Electric Ford Mustang Mach-E to its fleet of support vehicles for this year’s tournament.
The partnership with TrustFord is as a key part of the SuperCupNI’s commitment to sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of the tournament.
TrustFord will act as official supplier of vehicles to the SuperCupNI that will support the logistics of delivering over 120 matches during the weeklong international youth tournament.
The fleet will ensure that the SuperCupNI’s team of 130 volunteers can efficiently manage transportation needs across venues in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
The SuperCupNI 2024, now in its 41st year, will take place from Sunday 21st to Friday 26th July. The tournament will feature over 60 elite girls’ and boys’ teams from around the world, competing across five age groups.
It will kick off with a traditional welcome parade and opening ceremony in Coleraine on Sunday 21st July, followed by a week of intense football action starting on Monday 22nd July.
