The World’s Oldest Active Speed Hillclimb takes places at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Cultra on Saturday 1st June. This event, which was first run by the Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club, Cultra in May 1905, was revived by the local Thoroughbred Sports Car Club(NI) for the 21st Century. No longer just a speed hillclimb competition, the Outdoor Museum setting gives a real ‘Garden Party’ feel to these themed events. The motorsport action is complimented by live action and static displays, of a widening appeal, for this family day out. For more info go straight to http://www.tsccni.info/
