Looking through my archives it seems that I receive a Mazda 2 model every other year allowing me to write about any updates the model has received.

A couple of years ago I drove what was then an all-new Mazda 2, it impressed, but more recently the Japanese maker has given it a bit of an update, offering more for your money.

It has been a long time since I last drove a Mazda. Two years in fact, when my ‘better half’ owned a previous generation Mazda 3. It wasn’t great…it was a little sluggish, didn’t handle all that well and was hard on fuel, which was disappointing given the lack of performance.
